At Regional Gatherings, each church is invited to begin the Bylaw Update Process by completing the intake form and, if desired, scheduling a consultation call with a member of the Vineyard Bylaws Team.
After the consultation call with Vineyard USA, or if you decline the consultation call with Vineyard USA over email, you will be given a link to sign up for a Bylaw Update appointment with StartCHURCH. This appointment will focus on administrative details. We’ll walk through the updates you desire to make to your bylaws and can explain built-in customization options in the bylaw templates.
After the call, we will provide you with draft bylaws for your board to approve, minutes for the meeting in which your board will approve your updated bylaws, and a due diligence letter to submit to the IRS (for churches with 501(c)(3)).
The Bylaws Update Process with StartCHURCH is free to the local church. Our dedicated team of compliance specialists will provide you with personalized guidance throughout your Bylaw Update Process. From the initial consultation call to the final approval, we are here to help.
